I have commented before that my Lil Divas are picky eaters! They really give me a hard time at pretty much every meal. Today I decided to make breakfast fun and make french toast out of their names using cinnamon bread & cookie cutters!
They not only ate it but finished in record time! :) Score 1 for Mom!
Do you have any tricks that you use to get your kdis to eat? I'd love some ideas!

ReplyDeleteThat's a GREAT idea... I LOVE LOVE LOVE my cookie cutters.. lol.. Have you looked into doing bento??? I've started doing that for MY picky gremlins.. lol.. I've been able to pick up some really cute veggie/cheese cutters on ebay, and I even slice the fruit and doll it up/ shape it up with the tiny cutters.. Its worked WONDERS ... have even gotten them to DIG spinach... bwahahahahaha

ReplyDeleteThanks for following my blogs . . . I am following you back!
Hope you and your family are having an awesome weekend . . . Gina
Bernie, can you come cook for me? Those are cute. Cookie cutters work great for sandwiches as well. Perhaps a heart one around Valentines day, bunny around Easter and so on. When I was a nanny I used to do that.
ReplyDeleteAnother idea is let each little diva plan a "healthy" type meal and cook it. The is something about helping that makes the food taste better.
Thanks for finding me. I'm following you as well.
Oooo I love this!! I'm totally going to do this for breaky next weekend for my boys!! We all love smoothies here...I think it's a great way for the kidlets to get milk/fruit/veggie/ whatever u like:) One of our faves is called FROZEN FLORIDA MONKEY...take a few bananas wrap them in plastic & throw them in the freezer for 15min-1/2hr...break them up put them in blender with the rest of the ingredients & blend until smooth. Enjoy:)
