Oh no, we've been mummified!
We have been enjoying all things Halloween here for the past week.
(the Lil Divas are super excited about Halloween this year)
This week we will be talking about mummies, skeletons, pumpkins & more!
Over the weekend we had some fun with mummies.
Craft:
TP Roll Mummy
This one is super easy!
Great motor practice for little hands too,
as they wind the gauze around and around.
Great motor practice for little hands too,
as they wind the gauze around and around.
What You Need:
TP Roll
gauze
wiggly eyes
glue
What To Do:
1. Roll gauze all around TP Roll to completely cover it.
Note: I did not glue this.
We simply tucked it into the back (so we can reuse both items later)
2. Add wiggly eyes w/glue
That's it!
Now, you have a spookily cute mummy!
Of course the mummy fun could not end there for the Lil Divas.
(Thankfully we had lots of gauze!)
Doll Mummification
The Lil Divas decided they wanted to mummify some of their dolls.
Poor Princesse Belle & Ariel, haha!
Looking pretty spooky!
Of course you can imagine what that led to!
Mummy Wrapping Game
The Oldest Diva had the bright idea to wrap up her little sister. :)
She did enjoy it, I promise! haha!
Then, the Littlest Diva got to wrap up her big sis!
She did a really good job & the Oldest Diva was very patient with her.
Isn't she the cutest little mummy you've ever seen?
BOO!
She went around scaring us all -
including Great Grandma who is here visiting us for the week!
FUN!

Bern, you're post made me to smile! I love all the mummy! Especially the lil diva mummy wrapping, they are so adorable and yes of course they are the cutest mummy! how fun!

ReplyDeleteHaha, so cute! Looks like the divas had a great time mummifying things, especially each other! :)
ReplyDeleteAleacia
Lol, of COURSE they had to try wrapping each other up! Yup- that's one cute mummy. I was thinking of doing a "mummy" craft with my boys and realized they have absolutely no clue what a mummy is.
ReplyDeleteOh we should try it with gauze! I've been trying to get Henry to wrap up as a mummy with TP and he hates it! So we never get anywhere. lol - I think it would be so much fun if he ever let me wrap him up!
ReplyDeleteLook so much fun. My younger brother dressed as a mummy for halloween one year using gauze - we had soaked the gauze in tea and let it dry so it was suitably yucky looking and then wrapped him up including dangling bits. I can't wait to do it with J but he's still a little young.
ReplyDeleteOh, what fun they had! I love it!
ReplyDeleteThose Toilet roll mummies are so cute. And I love the photos of them mummifying each other.
ReplyDeleteLove this! Reminds me of the toilet paper rolling contest! Use TP to wrap someone to look like a mummy! Whoever wraps the best wins! It would be a great Halloween party game!
ReplyDeleteLove the loo rolls!!! Brilliant.
