Exploring, Playing & Creating with Leaves

Oh, Happy Leafy Fun Day!

Our Leafy Godmother
(a.k.a Joyce from Dinosaurs & Octopuses)
sent the Lil Divas a package full of Fall Leaves
in many wonderful sizes, shapes & colors.

They were beyond thrilled with this unexpected treasure
(I kept the secret! Yay, me!)

They spent whole afternoons engaged with these leaves
doing leaf rubbings,

making leaf collages,

creating leaf people

that turned into works of art

Can you guess which Disney Princess this is?

and making leaf prints in play dough.

The Lil Divas also enjoyed role playing that they were
Fall Trees losing their leaves. Leaves were cascading down
from atop our couches onto the ground!

A special thank you to Joyce for providing us
with the means to explore leaves in these fun ways.

  1. Oh they did such a good job at creating leafy masterpieces! I have to say though, I'm rusty on my princesses. Who is it? Lol. Thanks so much for the mention, and you are very welcome! Thanks for sharing what they did with them!
