Rachelle over at Tinkerlab has issued a creative challenge and the Lil Divas and I were intrigued & inspired to see what we could create with
paper bags......
Being this is a child centered challenge,
I sat down to brainstorm with the Lil Divas
but as soon as I mentioned what we had to use
they knew what they wanted to make -
Paper Bag Princess Dresses
(inspired by The Paper Bag Princess by Robert Munsch)
My Adorable Paper Bag Princess |
What else would a Lil Diva
want to make from a paper bag?
This project was perfect for them
& they were excited about doing it.
We enlisted Daddy's help to get some paper bags
and I helped get the project started by cutting out
arm & head holes for each dress.
The Lil Divas decided they wanted
long dresses with ruffles at the bottom -
luckily we had extra bags to tape around the other bag
and we cut some rounded edges at the bottom.
To hide the wording on the paper bags we glued on some tissue paper and that became their design canvas.
Then the Lil Divas used our sticker stash
to decorate, decorate, decorate!
Are you ready to see my
Paper Bag Princesses?
Aren't they cute?
They were so happy with their creations!

Yes, the Lil Divas LOVE to make a good mess,
& this was just the section I dare show you! :)
We had fun with this Creative Challenge
& I am looking forward to the next one....
Now, the fun part....
you can get crafty with a paper bag or two, or three...
& join in with Rachelle/Tinkerlab, me & these other
creative bloggers on this creative challenge too.
